Opulence is a multidisciplinary, multimedia celebration of Black womanhood and girlhood - woven together through dance, vocal performance, and poetry. Choreographed and performed by Joie Yvonne and the dancers of Vivre Dance Project, this world premiere brings together the wisdom of lived experience, the grounding of Biblical scripture and West African theology, and the luminous legacies of Nina Simone, Maya Angelou, Octavia E. Butler, and Eartha Kitt.
This is a tapestry in motion. Rich, layered, and deeply human - made to be felt.

A feminine, groove-driven heels class inspired by Janet Jackson’s iconic control, confidence, and effortless sensuality. This class centers smooth transitions, grounded movement, and musicality that melts into the pocket.
Class begins with a brief warm-up to refine balance, coordination, and muscle control in heels, followed by choreography focused on clean lines, grooves, struts, hair whips, and floor work.
Designed for dancers with prior heels experience who are ready to embody grace, poise, and grown-woman ease as they glide across the floor with confidence in their self-expression.
✨ Heels are required for this class, knee pads are optional.
